This first Disco collection was inspired by the discotheque in my home. I was all of six years old when my parents hosted a house warming party but was mesmerised by the impact that this small hanging ball had on the room. It transformed entirely from a quiet room with plain walls to one filled with vibrant colors and motion; and then I saw how that transcended into the enjoyment of people occupying the room.

Every time I think back to that day, I am transported to a world where wonder was just a twirl away.  Each reflected particle of light danced to the sound of laughter and music, a visual echo of the joy that filled the space. This wasn’t just a party; it was an awakening of my young senses to the magic that light and joy could create together.

In the decades since, the memory of that disco ball has become more than a mere recollection; it has turned into a cherished symbol of my childhood and the unbridled creativity that moment instilled within me.
